Producer-director Lingusamy has denied that he has titled his upcoming Suriya-starrer as Rowdy. He has dismissed reports quoting in sections of the media that the film has been titled as Rowdy.
Lingusamy, who dabbles between producing and directing films, announced recently that his next directorial venture would feature Suriya in the lead. This would be the first time that Suriya would be starring in a film directed by Lingusamy. Samantha has been paired opposite Suriya for the first time in her career. The untested and exciting pair of Suriya and Samantha has already upped the expectations of the film.
On a roll in Kollywood after the huge success of his latest venture Singam II, Suriya has decided that his next film would be directed by Lingusamy. Contrasting reports have been appearing about the film’s title and Lingusamy’s clarification that Rowdy is not the title of the film has set the record straight now.
“We have yet to finalize the title; as and when we do so, it would be announced to the media,” Lingusamy says.
