Basking on the success ofPandiyanadu, Vishal is on cloud nine with his debut production venture to have been well received by the audience. To relish and cherish the success of “Pandiyanadu” even more, Vishal has been visiting several movie halls across the state not only to check the public response to his movie but also to promote it.
Released on the eve of Deepavali, Pandiyanadu, directed by Suseenthiran featuring Lakshmi Menon, Vikranth, Bharathiraja and Soori has become a commercial success. The film which was initially released in a few screens is running a many theatres across the state.
The team comprising of Vishal, director Suseenthiran, Lakshmi Menon andVikranth visited ARRS Multiplex in Salem to gauge the reaction of the audience in the night.
After the show, the actor met the media and fans. During the interview, Vishal stated that his role in Pandiyanadu was easily his most challenging role till date. He said that he had to shed his action image to do justice to the role. He added that decision to play the role of a quiet hero was not accepted by many, but the audience and the media have accepted his role and he is happy about it.
Asked about his next production venture, Vishal said that he will be co-producing his next film ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’ associated with UTV Motion Pictures. Lakshmi Menon will star opposite him in the film too. He has also plans to produce a film with Vikranth in the lead role, he said.
Next, on the subject of his marriage, the 36-year-old actor said that he would soon tie the knot and he found his soul mate. But he refused to reveal the name of the girl. Earlier there were reports that Sarathkumar’s daughter, Varalakshmi and Vishal had apparently been seeing each other. Now the latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Vishal has found his soul mate in none other than Lakshmi Menon.
Well, the guessing game of the bride has begun. However, unless Vishal reveals the lucky girl, one has to keep the fingers crossed.
