Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe tie the knot
Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live fame
tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Alexi Ashe over the weekend,
sources have confirmed. Alexi happens to be a human rights lawyer. The
marriage ceremony took place at Martha’s Vineyard. Only family members
and close friends were present when they entered wedlock.
Those present say that the couple looked
like they were on cloud nine over the wedding. Seth was smartly dressed
in a dark shaded suit while Alexi stepped into a cap sleeveless dress.
The event was a hush-hush one, with Seth announcing the engagement only a
month ago after he proposed to Alexi in a unique way.
He tied the engagement ring in a bow
around their pet’s collar and waited for Alexi to return home and
discover it. He jokes that he was perplexed when Alexi was not returning
at the usual hour and feared that the pet would get to the ring
eventually.
The marriage was attended by a host of
high-profile guests. Some of them include Jimmy Fallon, Jake Gyllenhaal
and his girlfriend, Jason Sudeikis and his girlfriend, Allison Williams,
Jack McBrayer, Rose Bryne and the like.
