The buzz surrounding the sequel to the 2013 blockbuster Man of Steel never fades away.
First it was announced at Comic Con 2013
that the film will feature both Batman and Superman, two of the most
powerful faces in the world of DC Comics. Next it was announced that
Henry Cavill will continue to play the role of Superman but the role of
Batman will go to Ben Affleck. Next it was announced that Bryan
Cranston, the star from Breaking Bad will play the role of Lex Luthor.
The recent revelation is that the film will be shot in parts of Michigan.
The movie received the approval of the state’s film incentives to the
tune of $ 35 million. During the course of the movie, 406 Michigan
workers and 500 Michigan vendors will be hired on the sets. A sum of $
5.1 million will be spent in Michigan hotels too.
Director of the movie Zack Snyder feels
that Detroit will provide the perfect setting that their movie will
need. The incentives for the shooting will be earmarked from the 2014
budget of the state. The total allocation is same as last year – $ 50
million.
