He picked up a surprise Emmy on Sunday for portraying the role of Will McAvoy, the newsreader in HBO’s hit television series, The Newsroom. He promised the media after picking up the award in a backstage interview that he will party hard to commemorate his win till dawn and then take a flight to Atlanta and begin shooting for the sequel of Dumb and Dumber.
We are talking of Jeff Daniels and clearly his word is his bond. The actor posted a picture of his with Jim Carrey from the sets of Dumb and Dumber 2 on his twitter account and confirmed what he had promised.
Dumb and Dumber had first appeared on television in the year 1994 and it was an instant rage. Fans will be delighted to learn that the much awaited sequel is already underway. Before the confession from Jeff, we saw Jim Carrey posting a picture of himself in his Dumb and Dumber avatar on his twitter account. The two will reprise their roles as Lloyd and Harry in the cult series.
