There are a lot of expectations from Ben
Affleck now that he has been confirmed to play the role of Batman in
the Zack Snyder directed Man of Steel 2, the sequel to Man of Steel which released this year.
Man of Steel 2 will feature
both Superman and Batman. While Henry Cavill will continue playing the
role of Superman, the role of Batman went to Ben Affleck. This happened
after the usual Batman, Christian Bale refused to play the role anymore.
Ben’s selection raised a furore among
the fans of Batman and there have been online petitions requesting a
change in the casting decision. Bale’s shoes are large to fill. Ben
Affleck has not let these bother him and has instead begun his
preparations for the dream role.
His director friend Kevin Smith paid a
visit to his house and was bamboozled when Ben took him to his room and
pressed a few buttons. The book-case opened up revealing something
similar to that of the entrance of the Batcave, a secluded area in the
Wayne Manor where Bruce Wayne transforms into Batman in the movies.
Kevin was amazed at the kind of dedication that Affleck has displayed for the role and is certain he will do it justice.
